Not shocking to me. A lot of professional conservative women (trans including) are shocked when reality happens because they’ve bought into the idea that sexism is a “liberal” exaggeration. Their rights were being held up by efforts from the “other” women they despise.
Seeing as she clearly exploited her husband’s death to gain personal political power I’m not surprised she’s a fan of the second.

The problem with “big tent” thinking is that it falls apart when you start testing it against real world scenarios. Im not going to stand in a tent with someone who wants to see anti-feminist, anti-minority, anti-poor policies enacted.
PS: I’m probably just explaining something 99.9% of you understand but those few intellectually dishonest are making: Recognizing a big tent opposition doesn’t mean subsuming the causes you care about. This is not anti-fascism at the expense of X, Y, and Z. It’s your cause AND the big tent.
