The rent on the Halifax townhouse I’m sharing for the summer has increased 53% in 3 years. It’s changed (renter) hands twice in that time, so that increase was legal. But… 53 percent in 3 years? People. That’s a scam. That’s a scam to drain money from ordinary people and enrich the wealthy.

I missed this earlier today. In an update this afternoon, Halifax Water acknowledged that “it should have notified customers about the interruption of fluoridation at both J. Douglas Kline (Pockwock Lake) and Lake Major water supply plants over the past several years.”
