The thing that gets me about this "vaccines cause autism" narrative, which has been proven to be false time and time again, is that it's treated as if autism is the worst possible outcome for a human being (which, it is, not). Making autism the ultimate enemy further stigmatizes folks

I removed all AI features from my email account. This means all messages that were previously filtered into social and promotion tabs now go to my primary box. I've been unsubscribing to dozens of useless emails and newsletters, many which I never singed up for. 10/10, highly recommend.

I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.

Migraines are the worst thing in the world because it is basically like a bunch of gods playing tug a war with your brain and central nervous system, but you aren't bleeding from the eyes so people who don't suffer them just think it's a headache.
you can be the most reasonable, intelligent, measured person on the planet and 3 minutes of a migraine will have you looking longingly at a drill and considering whether trepanning was honestly that bad of an idea

I don't care if a non-disabled person accesses a disability accommodation for the same reason I don't care if a child whose parents are rich gets free lunch at school. We don't need to means test being a kind person. I have better things to do with my time than be a cop over social services.
