Federal authorities do not have the power to charge state law violations. Only state and subsidiary authorities can do this.
CPD is not involved in the incident or its investigation. Federal authorities are investigating this shooting, and all further inquiries regarding the circumstances of this shooting should be referred to the appropriate federal authorities. (2/2)

When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.

in turn, i cannot help but let this color my opinion of people who think we can just duck our heads and mock the armed goons for their spotty ineffectiveness. Because despite all of their stupidity and incompetence, it seems evident they are building something that will last a very long time.

the way I think people need to start understanding red state governments, using Missouri as an example, is that they are very explicitly signaling the objective of establishing republican party dictatorships that, once successful in the legislature and courts, then takeover blue cities.

My wife had to deal with this recently. Met a microbio undergrad and when she mentioned her degree (PHD biomedical science) he started quizzing her on oncogenetics (challenging, not connecting).
