I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Like many NJ towns, Dunellen’s residents rely on trains.

As Mayor Cilento says, public transit and restoring funding for the Gateway Project shouldn’t be a political issue.

Thank you, Rep. DeSaulnier, for holding the Sacklers & Purdue accountable for the evil they've done. It's cold comfort to those who've been hurt badly but at least they can't continue their damaging behavior as easily in the future. We need more leaders to fight for (not against) regular Americans.
I’m glad to hear the news today that the Sackler family and Purdue Pharma will be forced to pay for the deep harm they have caused countless families and communities (1/3).

Orlando City Council District 3! I want you to know that I’m very proud to be supporting Mira Tanna in the runoff election.

She’s ready to champion bold ideas because she knows that business as usual won't solve the challenges we face. Vote Mira Tanna on or before December 9th!

Thanks, Rep. Pappas, for trying to do something to help keep healthcare affordable for so many. I doubt the Trump admin will do this because they don't care about anyone other than themselves but good for you for trying. Keep up the good work!
Open enrollment must be extended to give people the time and flexibility they need to choose their coverage.

I’ve called on the Trump administration to take this simple step, but if they won’t act, Congress must.

It's hard to explain to people outside Texas just how terrible the political situation is there. Sometimes it's even hard IN Texas because far too many don't know. This sums it up.

Texas elections are illegitimate according to EU standards, should they be treated as such?
At what point can a state rig elections so aggressively that their results must be nullified?

I was proud to join local leaders and project partners to break ground for the new Mary Rose Wilcox Center which will help even more families access the care they need.

Congratulations Rep. Grijalva! You're going to be a welcome addition to both Congress and to the Democratic Women's Caucus!

Thank you, Rep. Figures, for fighting for your constituents & for all Americans. I disagree with your word choice though. The massive failures of your Republican coworkers aren't disappointing, they're disgusting and craven. The Rs don't care about anyone other than themselves. ALL of them must go!
The failure of Republicans to do anything to save health care is truly disappointing.

But House Democrats remain committed—we’ll keep fighting to protect health care.

Thank you, Rep. Lee, for having integrity & fighting for the American people. Unlike your Republican coworkers, you care about more than your bottom line. We need you & more like you in the halls of Congress. ALL Republicans must go. They're standing in the way of progress & decency.
I’m a NO on this bill that does nothing to stop health care costs from skyrocketing for millions of Americans. Republicans did not come to the table to stop this — they own the shutdown and they are responsible for jeopardizing health coverage for so many Americans.

Thank you, Rep. McGovern, for fighting for the American people (unlike your Republican coworkers). I so appreciate your snark and shaming of them. It's too bad for all of us that they have no sense of decency.
We fought like hell to stop this awful GOP plan in the Rules Committee.

We argued until 2AM.

We moved to adjourn.

We offered amendments to lower healthcare costs & block their payday for pro-insurrection Senators (yes, really—look it up).

We showed up. Republicans sold you out.
