It’s official: EA is going private.

The leveraged buyout will be financed by a staggering $20 billion of debt, which likely means some *aggressive* cost cutting is ahead for EA in the coming months and years.

I just voted against a GOP bill that gives up Congress's power over spending.

Instead of working with Democrats to stop premiums from DOUBLING next year, Republicans are sending us straight into a shutdown—and pushing bills to give up their own power and hand it over to Trump.

I wonder if Chuck Schumer hesitated for even an instant as he ran from the White House to announce this, to wonder if “The president didn’t even know about any of the bad stuff in his bill!” is almost certainly a lie, and also, more importantly, a message that actually helps the president.

Congress should decide what we spend and what we cut—not Trump and not Russ Vought.

What is BRICS and where is it going?
The success of the BRICS project does not signal an overthrow of capitalism as a global system, but it does mark a shift away from Western dominance. It reflects a broader push for greater national so...

Just because Katelyn's reporting here is coming under question, I too can independently confirm that McBride was active behind the scenes on this issue for at least the last week.

I do not think this absolves her public statements and NYT interview, but this is accurate reporting.
Sources tell me that Tammy Baldwin and Sarah McBride worked behind the scenes to get this provision out and to keep Dems together if it had come to a vote.
