Kellogg is going seriously off message here as far as the Trump administration is concerned: praising the Ukrainians, the Europeans and denying that Russia is on the cusp of victory. Unfortunately, it probably means he will be further marginalized rather than signalling a change in the US approach.

Russia just killed dozens of Ukrainians in a missile strike on Palm Sunday, a day after Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff met Putin, shook hands and posed for cameras. Witkoff visited an Orthodox Christian cathedral. Today church-goers were targeted.
