Another 55mins of Farage carried live by BBC and Sky, in which he rambled for twice as long as briefed, and yet managed to say little of substance.

Why can broadcasters not simply give us 3mins of the low-lights after the event, as they would do with most other politicians? ~AA

Nigel Farage currently railing against Parliament being full of "professional politicians".

He founded UKIP in 1993 and was first elected as an MEP in 1999, twenty-six years ago. Less than 5% of current MPs (31 to be precise) have a longer career in politics than Farage. ~AA

I used to get told off by people for calling certain people fascists - apparently it weakened the word - now, those people I called fascists are being fascists - what really weakens the word is not using it when we can try and stop them and only use it when they have power

There’s a nonzero chance you will die from a cancer that could have been curable because people who couldn’t pass 7th grade biology and are scared of things like “mRNA” and “riboflavin” and “walkable cities” decided to make their ignorance everybody else’s problem
Over 120 mRNA cancer trials are now at risk as the Trump admin cuts funding & tells researchers to scrub “mRNA” from grant proposals.

What started as COVID fearmongering is now derailing life-saving cancer research.

Hope remains - but scientists say time is running out.

Somewhere between 1979, when Thatcher was clear that she was switching from direct to indirect taxation, and won, and 1992, when Labour set out independently analysed tax proposals which showed who would gain, and who would lose, and lost, we have lost the ability to have a sensible debate on tax.

Is this the same poll that the BBC'S More or Less looked into a few months ago? My recollection was that poll wasn't exactly cut and dried, not least because it was conducted for The Bible Society.

The details here are particularly harrowing, especially the stories of other people who were not so lucky. I don't understand why anyone would take the risk of visiting the U.S. under these circumstances.

Oil prices spiked due to more aggression from a country currently committing genocide.

Renewable energy prices were unaffected.

Do you like entrusting your country's economy to the whims of genocidal maniacs?

If not, you have options.

The Telegraph is now having to publish so many corrections to articles where it attempts to find *any angle whatsoever* to attack net-zero polices that it makes sense to start tracking them here.

These are the ones published since Labour won the election.

Unbelievable.

Labour campaigners say that again and again they were told on doorsteps that WFA, PIP and retaining the two child benefit cap were turning Labour voters away.

What is it that prevents Starmer and McSweeney from understanding that people voted to end Tory cruelty, not perpetuate it?

Why does Starmer's Labour Party seem determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Because it hates the left more than it fears the far right.
As a result it won't do the "left" things so many of its potential supporters are crying out for.
