I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

No one should be allowed to profit from delivering education, healthcare, or incarceration.
Only monolingual people think translation can be handed over to machines. Anyone experienced in speaking/writing more than one language knows how hard it is to capture not just the meaning, but the context as well.
Good literary translation requires understanding (language, culture, genre--on both sides of the translation) and an ability to write well. "AI" can't do that. There are no shortcuts. Treat your work and foreign language readers with the respect they deserve. You won't fool anyone with this.
