Pedro Gutierrez openly admitted to calling CPS as part of a fraudulent harassment campaign pushed by Ronen Levy and his brother, Oren Levy.

They all know exactly what they’re doing, because this is what they’ve done since 2021 because my reporting sabotaged their far-right conspiracy propaganda.

Far-right extremists who’ve harassed (& assaulted!) me for years are falsely claiming that I brought my baby to a “riot”/exposed my baby to harm because I covered a demo while babywearing where people unfurled banners inside Apple & then rallied outside.

Their intention is to terrorize and harm me.

Someone once succinctly summed up the common problem with a GOP legislator’s policy proposals - “he just doesn’t understand some people don’t have any f****ing money!”
But Hawley’s proposal has the same basic flaw as Cassidy’s “HSAs for All!” Idea: They assume that most people have several thousand dollars in cash lying around which can be put into a savings account (or paid up front) in order to get savings/tax benefits later on.

If they defy the courts and follow through with these threats, they'll be undermining the very transparency they claim to care about, leading to more delays, more errors and more uncertainty.

They’re hellbent on sabotaging SNAP—and making life infinitely harder for the 170K Mainers who rely on it.

States already provide data to ensure the integrity of SNAP. Now, the USDA is threatening to withhold admin funds if states don't hand over personal info for MILLIONS of people.

Maine is among the states fighting this egregious overreach in the courts, which have temporarily blocked USDA’s demands.

USPS is required by law to try to break even. It generally doesn’t take taxpayer dollars to fund operations.

That’s what makes this a monumental gamble from Steiner.

Amazon is USPS’s largest client — by far. And he’s letting them walk out the door, and even become a top competitor.

the real story is the way the country's obscenely rich have hijacked new and old media to pour lemon juice in the country's unhealed race and gender wounds to divide the electorate and derail genuine progressive reform, justice-oriented taxation, and corporate oversight

now THAT's a story

NEW: Admiral Frank Bradley arrives on Capitol Hill for a classified briefing on the “double tap” boat strike, where US forces hit a target once, then hit survivors and vessels again as they tried to flee.

He’s the one Trump and Hegseth are trying to throw under the bus to save their own asses.

No one will say RFK's behavior is a sign that men can't be trusted in politics.

As a historian of eugenics, just want to confirm that eugenics is bad. Racism and ableism are the foundations of eugenics, and if those things shape what you mean by "desired" genetic characteristics, then it is eugenics and therefore bad. However, not all genetic intervention has to be eugenic.

1. Invent a war where none exists.
2. Kill people by blowing up boats that aren’t attacking you.
3. Violate your own rules of war.
4. Call in the lawyers to explain why the clear violations are not really violations.
5. Blame it on “the fog of war.”
