“Fentanyl exposure” is not a thing. Fent has to be intentionally ingested to cause OD.

It’s being made by a “blockchain-focused digital finance company” whose “biotech arm” is only this…

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

"Factchecking Trump on '60 Minutes'"

In today's 'First Draft' morning newsletter from Zeteo, I counted and debunked at least *17 obvious, brazen lies* that the president told CBS's Norah O'Donnell, and that she just let slide:

A very partial resource for the folks who need it - I found many of these by searching for "SNAP free meal" or "SNAP free breakfast" within Bluesky.

And if you don't need this help, please support the businesses providing it.
🧵Thread of cafes, restaurants, bars, bagel joints, etc offering free meals to SNAP recipients, for those who might need it, & so those who don't can give 'em their business.

If you know of such offers in your area & don't see them here, please tell us in @'s.

Some people voted for Trump because "He's a business man and the US should be run like a business!"

If the US was a corporation and Trump its CEO, he would have been removed ages ago for misappropriation of funds, corporate espionage, and breach of contract.

To the craven "comedians" who are STILL not speaking up: The manager at the Chicago Laugh Factory was arrested by ICE. They filed no charges, he's a US citizen, and his family doesn't know where he is.

They are coming for all of us. Grow a fucking spine and say something while you still can.

Politics isn't a team sport.
We don't get to walk away after the game and discuss plays over the water cooler at work.
Political decisions impact us all, they follow us home, to our workplaces, they weave their way into our families.

This is simply untenable. There is no way forward with media and political classes captured by the right. Every time someone commits a crime you have to pray it's not an undesirable or it's purge time, then when it turns out to be themselves again they just shrug and wait for the next one.
