Forget the JFK files — why doesn’t Trump start by releasing the Epstein files? 🤨

I mean it’s sort of amazing that the incoming US President has basically said he’s going to declare war on Denmark, annex Canada and rename bits of the globe to his liking and broadcast news is just rolling with it like he’s delivered a sombre and thoughtful policy announcement. Absolute insanity.

I can’t think of a better way to honor Jimmy Carter than donating to Habitat for Humanity. He and Rosalynn first began volunteering with the nonprofit in 1984 — 3 years after leaving the White House. They volunteered every year until 2020, eventually helping to build and repair 4,390 Habitat homes.

May President Carter rest in peace, what a legacy he leaves.

(And take comfort that Biden will be president at the funeral and not Trump!)
Well, as it turns out today is that day. Rest in peace, President Jimmy Carter. Equally saddened to hear the news and comforted knowing he’s reunited with Rosalynn.

More women have been attacked by other women in restrooms for being suspected of being trans in 2024 than women have ever been attacked in a restroom by a trans woman in all of recorded history.
In 2024 more women were attacked by another woman in a public restroom than by a trans woman.

In fact I don't think any were attacked by a trans woman.

I’ve been obsessed with trying to figure out how my priors got me convinced that Harris would win. I really think a lot of my miscalculations spring from my being too optimistic. So now I’m trying to factor my excess optimism into my theories. Now I am really really depressed.
