The U.S. Department of Justice had been pushing for South Carolina's voter registration list, which includes personal data, like the last four digits of Social Security and driver's license numbers, according to a letter from the DOJ. Circuit Court judge Diane Goodstein issued a temporary restraining order to halt the process on Sept. 2, saying that "there is a likelihood that immediate and irreparable damage will result to Plaintiff if her personal information data is released in violation of her right to privacy. , "

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

This is a horrible tragedy. Everyone deserves to get home safe in New York City.

There’s no protected bike lane on this street. Mayor Adams has built just a fraction of the protected bike lane miles he's legally required to build.

The result? Dangerous streets like this one.

Earlier this month, an out of control driver sped through an Astoria intersection and killed a 70-year-old man and a 42-year-old man, both Queens residents and fathers. The driver also died. We will gather Wednesday at the crash site to honor them and demand safety for Astorians.
