It is 65 years to the date that Ruby Bridges walked to school (yes, I heard the NPR Rockwell story) and just thought the day should be celebrated for many things.

Looking up the paving schedule for the remainder of DeKalb (evidently a bunch of cars didn't move and workers have to come back and finish) but not even sure where this is?

Now am on a rant. Pet peeve is the #BikeNYC cyclist that rolls into pedestrians in a busy crosswalk. Lady came from behind me and just couldn't wait, then proceeds to the left, in order to turn right onto #Chrystie. Why do people do this?

This truck has been blocking street cleaning for over two weeks, but www.instagram.com/brownstonebo... says they move it each week. Same trash still lodged under truck blocking drain grate, and really smells.
Branded truck for Brownstone Botanical blocks street cleaning each week in order to maintain their prime parking. Tickets are cheap, and the trash lodged in the drain smells.

When did @nyctaxi.bsky.social stop pulling to the curb?! I watched this man have to hobble off the curb to the #NYCTaxi stopped dangerously in the moving lane/middle of the street. Illegal & dangerous. RIP to that poor woman.

Congestion Pricing Works.
Crowded NYC intersection with cars traveling different directions blocking other cars. Was a typical intersection prior to implementation of Congestion Pricing.

Congestion pricing works! Having to filter through cars blocking intersections does not have to happen if we have less cars in NYC.
