I hear a lot of people saying that ai makes art accessible.. well I personally think that's bullshit- so I made this to drive my point home.

Life is just so short. More output doesn't make it any longer. You just remember and enjoy a lot less of it. And, like, what's the point, then?

The ASPS has come out against trans youth surgical care.

The AMA then endorsed the ASPS.

Meanwhile, WPATH's president-elect testified on behalf of a detransitioner who won their case.

And hospitals capitulate to Trump.

I write my indictment of the American medical system on trans youth care.
The Cowardice Of American Medicine On Trans Youth Care
After capitulation by hospitals across the country, the ASPS and AMA have both thrown trans kids under the bus on surgical care.

Public health without an unwavering dedication to evidence, justice, and the public welfare will inevitably become a health-flavored arm of fascism.

Absolutely fascinating how no TV production can ever seem to portray asthma realistically. Like it's not a rare condition surely someone on the crew could offer some notes

Platforms are just tools. Tools we should be able to control. Tools that should work for us and make our lives actively better. If they don't, what are we doing here?

If you do nothing else in 2026, take back your time and attention from the people who fragment and manipulate you.
The farther we get into 2026, the more I'm endorsing folks to learn the mod tools on the social medias they use and apply them aggressively. Yes, it's stupid to have to lock replies to a post saying "I don't really like pancakes" to followers only and turn off quote posts, but...people are wild.

'In a functioning media ecosystem, here’s what would happen: [...] When the company responded with an auto-reply dismissing them as liars, that would become the lead. The headlines would read something like “xAI Responds to CSAM Reports With ‘Legacy Media Lies’”'

This also a separate issue from critically appraising the various merits (or lack thereof) of something. This is not a blanket 'nothing is bad! *sparkles*'

This is the difference between, for example, appreciating Shakespeare and manga. You might get one but not the other.
