A regime that is tip to toe corrupted by Arab money intends to lecture us on the defence of Christianity.
This is the most ridiculous foreign policy document I ever read. An I read many of those.

Holy moly, do people still think the U.S. is an ally of Europe? It is now an officially stated foreign policy goal to undermine the EU and centrist European governments that don't ideologically align with MAGA.
Europeans are waking up this morning to find the new US National Security Strategy (quietly) released. And what it has to say on Europe could not be clearer. On the „stark prospect of civilizations erasure“ for example. 👇

There were people in both the U.S. and Europe who, not long after ru's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, tried to warn the world of the consequences of not supplying Ukraine with the weapons it requested at the requested numbers and ranges, and the response was always, "But escalation!"

Good summary from the Economist.

Europe needs to develop a credible strategy that is agnostic of whatever is going on in the White House. We are sidelined and irrelevant because we allow ourselves to be.

Stop being reactive, take some initiative, unlock the funds and support Ukraine.
Enough dithering. Europe must pay to save Ukraine
America will not. Europe’s security depends on agreeing how to

‼️EU leaders including Macron and Merz warned Zelenskyy to be careful of US betrayal in negotiations.

Could you imagine this headline a year ago? Stunning how quickly the world order changed.

Thank you Europe for standing together with us against this shared threat we all face.

What many Europeans fail to understand is Ukrainian mentality. Somewhat simplified it's a bit binary. Either you are sort of complacent or you act with all your heart. That mentality won the battle of Kyiv, prevented the state collapse in 2022 and retook parts of Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts.

‼️Stunning statements by the Belgian Prime Minister at an event in Brussels this week.

🔹It's an illusion that Russia will lose in Ukraine
🔹If they lose, instability is bad because of nuclear weapons
🔹I have been personally threatened by Russia if their assets are seized

Wow.

"Ah, welcome. Please fill in this form."

"Sure, for body options and features, right? Let's see... One of those, definitely. Hm. What's this 'Do you expect to be obeyed?' For that money, of course I do!"

"Then we cannot help you. We only do partners."

They were indeed very useful. They kept the Tomahawks taco-ed & our assets haven't been given to Ukraine.
⚡️ Update: Witkoff, Putin talks on ending Russia’s war in Ukraine were 'very useful,' Kremlin says.

Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev described the talks as “productive.” Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov added that the meeting was “very useful, constructive, & highly substantive,” but no deal was reached.
High-stakes talks between US envoy Witkoff and Putin on ending Russia's war in Ukraine have concluded
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Witkoff will present Putin with the latest version of the U.S.-Ukraine framework drafted during recent rounds of talks in Geneva and Florida.

Russia failed to conquer Ukraine. So Trump is handing Putin what he couldn’t win on the battlefield. Territory. Limits on Ukraine’s military. And $300B in assets. Shameful. Dangerous. Unacceptable.

Whatever comes out of them, today's talks in Moscow are a diplomatic all-time low for the US. Incompetent, mercurial envoys trying to reset relations w one of the worst regimes in the world at the expense of the victim of unprovoked aggression and the security of America's best allies in Europe.

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

No matter how often it is repeated, what Moscow thinks "peace talks" and "ceasefire agreements" are for still confuses some Western counterparts.

Russia repeatedly gets what it wants because the other side focuses on ending the war, but Russia instead wants to win it.
