Recall that Putin's Wagner group was a part of Maduro's personal security. The fact that Maduro was captured so rapidly raises questions about whether he was sold out by Putin in exchange for Ukraine.

The Trump administratiok CHOSE to violate international law. They CHOSE the path of illegality because they could not get control of Venezuelan natural resources (oil) by lawful means, and to flex muscle and show the world that Trump and clam are ABOVE the law, not subject to it.

We either support international law or we don't. Justifications for violations of international law are justifications for the destruction of the legal order. We care about the rule of law or we don't. There is no in between.

The Russian government is militarizing and preparing Russian children to fight in war. Children are being taught to operate drones and participate in other military-related activities in a "Ready for Labor and Defence" program. This is long term war planning.
