As our kids go #BackToSchool, never forget that we ARE the traffic that we’re afraid of. If more kids walked, biked or rode transit to school, it would erase a massive number of car trips each day, and our kids would be safer, healthier and better at school. HT Ian Lockwood.

Spread the word.

Just experienced a Greek ferry loading process (if it can be called that!) holy moly, the chaos, yet somehow it works! I loaded and loaded in the span of 15 minutes! Just make sure you know what boat you’re on. And hope for the best! @bcferrys.bsky.social never gets close to this level of mayhem.

Every time the CBC election panel says the word “early” we all stand up. Last one to stand up has to do a push up.
We are all going to be in excellent shape by the end of this.

A key reason why I shop the way I do and the reason I pause and think hmmmm when I see something in media that is too good/convenient/shocking.
Out of all the reboots, this one would be amazing!

It’s funny being an early adopter of Bluesky. People finding old posts and liking them well after I’ve forgotten about them is amusing! Loving all the joy and connection that’s been happening. To add to that, here’s a recent moment of joy, encountering a pod of Orcas in the Sailish Sea. #sailishsea

I know my news feed is curated accurately when I can scroll through and there is no mention of the actual events of the #superbOwl only jokes and memes! Is the game still on? No idea. Who won? No idea. Do I find pop culture amusing? Yes!

Happy #SuperbOwl day to those ‘whooo’ celebrate. Here is a superb owl for your delight and enjoyment. It is a Saw-Whet Owl seen on Haida Gwaii, off the west coast of Canada.
