We had a sheet of cellophane to fit over our ~15” TV screen that had a green band on the bottom, pinkish in the center, and blue on top, trying to make it look like we had a color TV. It didn’t.
What’s an experience you had growing up in the early 2000s or earlier that would be completely foreign to someone who grew up in the 2010s?
For me, it was the fact that we had only 20 hours of dial-up internet access per month and I blew so far past it one month my mom canceled it for a year. 😭

I’ve known a lot of assholes, racists, bigots. I cannot say I’ve known anyone that went through a Nazi stage. JFC, not one.
Especially in this current climate of “cmon guys, didn’t we all go through a nazi phase as kids?” bullshit. Being a dumb piece of shit in your youth doesn’t automatically make you irredeemable, but by god you gotta at least admit you were wrong and fix your shit through your words and deeds.
