There’s no meaningful difference between the US and the kinds of regimes the US claims are threats to democracy. I mean state goons are disappearing people of specific national or racial identification and putting them into camps
ICE said 118 people were arrested during an operation Monday in Colony Ridge outside of Houston but only released information about one of the arrests. ICE has not responded to requests for a list of the names, ages and charges against those who were arrested.

To define the principles to govern those who are charged with the selec-
tion of text-books for use in the public schoels.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
Section 1. It shall be the duty of every board, commission, committee or officer charged with the selection of text-books for use in the public schools to select and install text-books on American history and civil government which adequately stress the services rendered by the men who achieved our national independence, who established our form of constitutional government, and who preserved our federal union. No textbook shall be used in our schools which speaks slightingly of the founders of the republic, or of the men who preserved the union, or which belittles or undervalues their work.

So just straight up threats and intimidation now from the Department of Justice to sitting members of Congress who oppose Musk or Trump. We are about to see sitting members of Congress and others arrested by the FBI by the end of the week at the rate things are going.
So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced.
