Katter refuses to acknowledge the monarchy, basically zero backlash (compare that to the reaction Thorpe got!).

One Nation boycott the Welcome to Country.

But what do Labor and the Coalition decide is the most outrageous thing? A silent protest against Israel.

Victoria has driven a huge reduction in residential gas use since it peaked in 2019-20.

Down 18.6 PJ per annum since then - this is HUGE!

Equivalent to electrifying the entire gas consumption of every single household in QLD, WA and Tassie (15.9 PJ) and then some.

Oil prices spiked due to more aggression from a country currently committing genocide.

Renewable energy prices were unaffected.

Do you like entrusting your country's economy to the whims of genocidal maniacs?

If not, you have options.

The Australian Government needs to back up their words with action. We should be stepping up as a middle power and taking concrete action against the Government of Israel for the horrors it’s inflicting on the people of Gaza.

Every single young Australian would need to order 4,888 t-shirts from Temu each year (13 per day) to match Woodside's current emissions.

And to reach Woodside's maximum emissions estimates for the North West Shelf Extension? They would each need to order 214,571 t-shirts. #woodsideenergy

I can't believe how drip-pilled this sounds, but the ABC's obsession with "What went wrong with the Liberals" is getting absurd. Nearly a month after the election and Four Corners is dedicated to it? What about what the actual government is doing? Or not doing?

In recent days several highly educated, thoughtful people told me they usually vote 1 for Greens but this time voted 1 for Labor to beat Dutton. 🤯

I cannot understand how people can still make such ignorant decisions when we have preferential voting & who is more likely to form minority government.

~45% of US corn production is now used to make ethanol, mostly for mixing into gasoline.

That's ~13% of all US crop land already used for energy production.

Using some of the same land for solar panels would capture 50-100 times more energy per acre.

🇦🇺 has a gas export problem, not a gas supply problem - we export 80-90% of our gas (with little return to taxpayers).

The Govt should use export controls to give 🇦🇺 households & businesses immediate cost of living bill relief. There's no need to open more gas fields.

Change to help single parents also very welcome.
