From 1 July to 31 December Australians have installed 184,672 home batteries under the Albanese Government's Cheaper Home Battery policy. This has added 4.27 gigawatt hours of storage capacity.

Wishing everyone in our community a very Merry Christmas.

I hope today brings time with loved ones, moments of rest, and a chance to reflect on the kindness and generosity that make our community so special.

For those doing it tough today, please know you’re not alone.

163,016.

That’s how many Australian households have put in a battery since 1 July.

Our Cheaper Homes Batteries policy has been, on any measure, an outstanding success.

ICYMI - We've investing in the cheapest form of energy, renewables, which puts downward pressure on prices.

My update to the house last month.

Across Australia, we’re seeing businesses, homes and communities get on with the job of making upgrades to help them lower bills, and lower emissions at the same time.

✅ Good for the environment
✅ Aussie made
✅ Big Trucks
✅ Cheaper to run

And now we are helping businesses who want to get these electric trucks with access to low cost finance.

Australia and New Zealand both know that our journey to net zero is about seizing economic opportunities and creating new jobs.

We want to get bills lower.

The Coalition wants you to pay for their energy and climate chaos.

Construction has kicked off on Tomago's new big battery.

We store our rain water, we can store our renewable energy too.

If you can’t back Australia you shouldn’t ask Australia to back you

Over half the electricity produced in both the National Electricity Market and WA's Wholesale Electricity Market came from renewable electricity in the past month.

This is putting downwards pressure on wholesale prices.

POV: Liberals trying to remember what they stand for.

The Cheaper Home Batteries program has now introduced to the grid over 3 gigawatt hours of capacity.

We're getting on with the job.
November 28, 2025 at 12:08 AM
We’re getting on with the job of the energy transition because the facts show it’s in Australia’s national interest.

After a decade of denial and delay, the coalition continues to deny climate change is real and want to stop taking action all together.

We're getting on with the job.

We’ve delivered the largest annual fall in emissions outside the pandemic.

The modern Liberal party doesn't have a great relationship with facts, but it's simple:

When Coal breaks down, your bill goes up.

You can't be a serious Australian party if you can't support Australia.

What does it matter what Australia does when China emits so much? Which historical figure would you have dinner with?

I answer a few questions from a hat!
November 25, 2025 at 11:00 PM
The Liberals like to say that lower emissions does not equal lower power prices.

Access to a wider range of EVs is happening in Australia.

Thanks to our New Vehicle Efficiency Standard you'll have more choice when it comes to purchasing a car.
