This post was a bat signal for Israel apologists to come in and troll with a "why were they in prison?" which was literally in my post. The Iranian regime are bastards too. They persecute and murder LGBTQ people. Yet, it was still Israel that massacred defenseless inmates to "liberate them."
Israel bombed an Evin, an Iranian prison that housed dissidents and political prisoners. They ended up destroying the trans wing and murdering over 100 trans people incarcerated there, many for simply being queer in Iran.

As I said before, the eighth amendment to the US constitution doesn't seem to apply to us trans people.

In in a WW2 & the Holocaust course in uni, I learned that one reason the Nazis could successfully scapegoat & genocide Jewish people was that the Jewish population in Europe was the magic number of “2% or less.” Every time I see trans population percentages in the USA or UK, I remember that.
