the dems’ plan for combatting fascism was to deliver on a lot of non hot button legislation that improves people’s material conditions so that they’d like dems and keep electing them. if you think about it, tho, it’s not really a plan to combat fascism. this disconnect is why it feels like inaction
My take is that they have done a lot, subject to constraining themselves to a set of norms that they really shouldn't abide by
