I can’t help but think something has gone wrong in your life if you’re spending your morning off work holding a sign that says “Large Gametes”.

From now til Christmas, 100% of proceeds from our downloads will go to @switchboardlgbt.bsky.social.

We recommend our Christmas EP 'Fightmilk and Cookies' - 4 original songs/3 unhinged covers/the sound of a band losing the plot.

I've got a load of old Manga Studio 4 files (.cpg and .cst) for comics but you can't open them on M1 and later Macs. I don't think I'll ever need to open them but it's still a reminder to keep dozens of your old, still-working computers in a climate controlled vault, until you die.

DfE guidance leans more heavily on "a lot of people think that" than might perhaps be expected from an official document.

Thoughts on AI/ML right now:
- Validate for every application, esp. outwith original training domain
- Ask your AI folks what data would help them improve the model
- Think about data you have that can be exploited
- DO NOT deploy in a way that makes it easy for non-domain-experts to get an "answer"

@cawhitworth.bsky.social This is your time to “shine”
In a post-Twitter landscape, where is the search box I can use to find out who shares my love for certain Only Connect teams? I watch Only Connect in isolation, separated from my community. Where are the horn"e"d vipers of Bluesky?

yeah as far as presidential statements about the death of an american official goes, this is the closest you’re going to get to “yes he deserved to die and i hope he burns in hell”
This statement from Biden about Henry Kissinger is one cold-blooded shiv of a paragraph, to a degree that I truly didn't expect we were going to get.

I'm impressed.

anyway it's probably fine, it is definitely reasonable to have a machine that lies confidently about things you may not be certain about. a program that's baked into the OS and designed to be turned to for help when you're stuck and uncertain SHOULD randomly make shit up, including references,

I rebooted and Windows 11 put an AI copilot button beside the start button without asking. The first thing I asked it was how to turn it off, and it answered incorrectly. Twice. Then I asked it who I was married to and it hallucinated a new job for Jenn, a son, and a dog - with fake references
