Feels right that MAGA’s stabbed in the back myth is centered on their king getting banned by the mods for violating forum TOS
It says something about Trump’s all-out war on free speech that the New York Times couldn’t find a more credible person than “presidential historian” Craig Shirley to defend it. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/21/u...

Rep. Jim Himes: "Having the Defense Department kill alleged drug runners in the Caribbean is illegal...These folks are committing murder — murder defined as killing without a legal basis. I am mystified over why the rest of the chain of command is quite comfortable with it."

Critical part of the President's new $100,000 charge for H1-B visas: The Administration can also offer a $100,000 discount to any person, company, or industry that it wants. Replacing rules with arbitrary discretion.

Want visas? You know who to call and who to flatter.

I’ve been seeing a lot of this argument lately, particularly from the right side of my former colleagues in DC. But a bandwagon argument is still a bandwagon argument.

If you feel bad about voting wrong, don’t hide behind numbers. Show some courage and stop voting that way.

This is why the media is mostly assiduously reporting the cancellation as being about comments about Kirk (even tho Kimmel said nothing remotely offensive about Kirk) instead of reporting the truth
"President got a late night TV show canceled" seems like one of those stories that penetrates the public consciousnesses better than stuff like "president threatens the independence of the Federal Reserve"

“Does the COVID vaccine reduce hospitalization for children under 18?” Paul.

“It can,” Monarez responded,

prompting Paul to insist, “It doesn’t.”

Yes, multiple studies show that COVID-19 vaccinations reduce hospitalizations in children.

Rand Paul is wrong!

Good view of how much of a hack Oren Cass is—other economists in a conversation with him go "Steve Miran is fine but he should have resigned his seat from the White House CEA before joining the Fed" and he responds "WOOOW the real threat to Fed independence is economists doing cancel culture"

Not only repugnant, but wrong. Gutfield claims that this was an "a specific crime against her by someone who knew her."

Charlie Kirk was an asshole who did not deserve to die because a well ordered society does not make being an asshole a death sentence. It also does not make it a crime to truthfully recount who they were.

WH has struck another vessel, killing three in Intl. waters, claiming it was transporting illegal drugs to the U.S.

If the U.S. can blow up boats in Intl. waters claiming they “might” be drug traffickers, then other nations (China, Russia..) could claim the same to attack vessels they don’t like.
