This They Might Be Giants TONIGHT SHOW performance of "Birdhouse In Your Soul" from 1990 remains firmly lodged in my noggin thanks to the Tonight Show Band's full commitment and Doc Severinsen's incredible trumpeting... It took an already great song and made it transcendent.

Hello good people of Bluesky. If you followed me on Twitter, you’ll know I’ve been documenting my sporadic trips to my mum’s house by documenting bric-a-brac, old technology which has been hoarded, and a lot of antiquated studio gear, and I thought I share it again here.

I’m at my mum’s house…

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

You might think, “This person posts the same creature every year!” But honestly, seeing the same life return year after year is something truly wonderful𓂃🫧‪

This is a quilt my Granny made using dresses my mom and aunts wore in the 30s and 40s. All the stars are made from the flour sack fabric she used to make their dresses. I love this quilt so much! Thanks for the reminder of all of those wonderful women!
