A reminder that when Gary Lineker was under fire a couple of years back for criticising the Conservatives while a BBC presenter, the channel said, by contrast, it was fine for Lord Sugar to repeatedly endorse the Tories because he was "free to say, as a business person, what he wants to say."

I do think it would be better if journalists - especially BBC ones - realised that for most people politics are currently frustrating, tedious and sometimew scary. Not "wild". It's not a spectacle.
Fascism is on the rise, the cost of living is higher than ever, the NHS is still in the shitter and people are scared, tired, and furious with a useless failure of a government, but don’t worry! If you live in the cosseted political media bubble, 2026 is going to be WILD. Fuck off.

I'm a bit concerned about "amber rain", is it like "golden shower" but a bit lower status?

The Roland TR-1000 is probably as you'd expect from the company that possibly defined the drum machine as we know it forty years ago.
But I'd like to praise the *packaging*: all cardboard (no plastic foam at all,) five sheets all cut and folded to form a rigid, robust and secure container.
