By this logic I should stop paying tax as my contribution won't make a difference to the national debt, and I'm sure that as future generations pay more tax to service the interest on the huge national debt, they won't mind that I didn't do my part
because we all know that UK emissions are too small on their own to make that difference. Look to the US, China, India, Russia etc.

It is that it can cost more to put off what you have to do endlessly. If 'twere done, 'tis best done quickly has to be the logic. And that has to be nuanced ...
