Larry Elmore's Ancient Red

My favorite art for all of D&D.

Have you ever wondered what happened to that brave warrior facing off against that awesome Red Dragon?

The answer was given to us in 1983 way before any modern interpretations. A thread 🧵

Around 65% of Harpenden and Berkhamsted constituency lies within the Green Belt, home to many rural villages whose character and setting define the area.

I’ve written to the Secretary of State with @gideonamos.bsky.social to raise concerns about how the new Grey Belt policy is being applied.

MD is pressing pause on Private Eye’s investigation into the Lucy Letby case - to give the Criminal Case Review Commission time to catch up. But if it still hasn’t acted by February, MD says the anonymised expert reports should be made public.

Fantastic to be on @lbc.co.uk’s Cross Questions with Iain Dale to discuss why we need to be bolder in our approach to a new UK-EU trade deal

Why doesn’t Keir Starmer fight him?

Just sent this out. Notable change in JD Vance's rhetoric just now. The Admin has been pompously claiming Ukraine has "no cards" and Putin was making a concession in not seizing all of Ukraine. Now Vance says the Russians will not collapse and Ukraine cannot win. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Sent out my free weekend update yesterday…as normal tried to throw buckets of cold water on those who are optimistic about what Trump is doing for Ukraine. His concessions to Ukraine are not concessions and he won’t add sanctions to Russia. Sorry.
Hi All, just sent out weekend update #130 (yikes), free as all. It starts with a discussion of “concessions”. The Russian narrative is so strong in the west that Ukraine is being offered nothing by Trump and people are saying they are getting concessions. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...
