"ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence" --Judge Patrick Shiltz
An extraordinary document. Read it.

“Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

There have been 3 homicides in Minneapolis this year. Trump’s agents committed two of them: a mom and a nurse who cared for our Veterans.

Stay the hell out of our cities.

Aunties for president
I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂

Utah passed a law to ban Pride flags.

Salt Lake City created new official city flags that incorporated banned flag features, so they can be flown w/o breaking the law.

"So shines a good deed in a wearing world."
If approved, SLC would have 4 flag designs. It's current, as well as one tied to Progress Pride, Juneteenth and Transgender designs as seen here #utpol:

All these EOs will fail in court
Executive orders are not legislation. They are implementation guidance to the executive branch. The significance of this is that Trump is behaving like a dictator. He thinks he is creating laws and assumes no one will stop him.
Trump ahead of signing executive orders: "We're signing some important legislation."

(That is not how EOs work)

Doddering dems take heed
Durbin out.
The decision of whether to run for re-election has not been easy. I truly love the job of being a United States Senator.

But in my heart, I know it’s time to pass the torch.

So, I am announcing today that I will not be seeking re-election at the end of my term.

Emoluments on aisle 4
In an astonishing escalation of the Trump family’s efforts to profit from crypto, a website promoting Trump’s memecoin announced that the coin’s 220 largest buyers would be invited to a private dinner with him.
Trump Offers a Private Dinner to Top 220 Investors of His Memecoin
The offer, which caused President Trump’s memecoin to surge in price, was his family’s latest effort to profit from cryptocurrencies.

Also I'd like a pony. And world peace.
Yeah, who wants to make six figures doing a desk job when you can make $15 an hour doing backbreaking work in a factory for a few decades.
Lutnick to Trump: "All those factories that you're bringing in because of your trade policy -- we're gonna train people in tradecraft. Bring back tradecraft to America so that people can work in these factories with great paying jobs ... we're gonna remake the American dream."

I'm confused. I thought chuds were supposed to be pro-Zionist antisemites?
Now that Nick Fuentes is platformed again thanks to Musk, he is able to spread his barely-veiled antisemitism to the masses.

This has allowed him to build a massive audience who have become increasingly radicalized against “Zionists” on X. The pipeline to Nazis has never been clearer.

They are always losing in court
This shell game bullshit isn't going to end till one of them gets locked up, and preferably the one at the top.
BREAKING: DOJ claims that the Trump administration did not violate a court order barring it from third-country removals without providing process when three people were sent to El Salvador b/c the Defense Department sent them to El Salvador on March 31, not DHS, and DOD isn't a defendant.

This will lose in court like all the other EOs. Accreditors should all link arms in mutual defense compacts, like universities
This so directly out of the Nazi playbook. The very obvious plan is to get rid of the independent accreditors and put all universities under jurisdiction of the federal government. This is how Hitler took over German academia and made it a wing of his party.
They're going after the accreditation of universities and threatening to revoke the ability of accreditors if they don't crack down on DEI and LGBTQ people in academia.

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything,

Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT.
