I always found it an interesting artistic choice that the Christmas song “Sleigh Ride” makes generous use of whipping sound effects.
I always think of the producer going: “I mean, it’s fine, but it could use more whip cracks. Because Christmas.”

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:
Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.

My perceptions of London were largely formed by this movie, which portrayed a quiet, tranquil, and walkable city.
