Good evening all. For this year's Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR), TFR remembers three transfeminine authors who passed away this year: Miss Major Griffin-Gracy (78), Valerie Amelia Thompson (38), and Michelle Duff (85) 🖤

We also remember 367+ victims of anti-trans violence and suicide 🕯️

Cringe is the light-killer
the little-death that brings only blandification.
I will face my cringe.
I will permit it to wash over me and through me. I will turn my inner eye to watch it pass.
When it has gone, it will be nothing.
Only joy will remain.

My most woke opinion is that the whole point of society is to collectively help each other. My taxes should be going towards housing and feeding everyone. No one should be without food or shelter. Rich people should be contributing more towards this. It shouldn't even be controversial!

A BONE IN HIS TEETH is about Alba, a disabled trans man and ex-sailor, who flees from debt for a chance at being happy with his mother. The problem is, his mother isn’t where she promised to be— and the only one that can help him find her is Eridanys, a bloodthirsty siren with demands of his own.

This book is real good y'all!

The setting is so incredibly cool, and the story had enough twists and turns to keep me on the edge of my seat through most of it.

Definitely give this one a go!
Just discovered the term decopunk exists.

Which is cool because I released a decopunk book last summer.

Y'all, this looks so good, and you can be a part of funding the audiobook, so please take a look and throw some support Amara's way.

And, as always, if you can't help fund, please share. Your shares absolutely matter!

Today is my birthday, and in honor of that, please buy some trans books! They don't even have to be my trans books, just buy trans books! Every day! Forever!
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

Honestly, if somebody wanted to complain at me for being "political," I probably didn't need or want them as a reader in the first place.

I'm trans. I write books about trans characters. They are gonna be political, as am I. Our existence has been *made* political. And my beliefs inform my stories.
So apparently: "authors shouldn't be political," is doing the rounds again.

So let's go over this again.
• trans rights are human rights
• LGBTQ+ rights are human rights
• gay people deserve to marry and adopt
• Women's rights are humsn rights.
• Believe women
• black lives matter
