I just finished Awakened by A. E. Osworth and the tears are still drying on my cheeks (and shirt). I don't think the official synopsis does it justice. It's fun but it's also powerful (and Powerful). Queer found family is such a trope, but there's a reason we keep reaching for it. IDK, I'm wrecked 😭

The end goal from Amazon is to prevent us having our own stores AT ALL, then they can start screwing us on costs the way they already do with marketplace sellers.
I just found out that our stuff is being sold on Amazon - WITHOUT our consent or any ability to opt out bc Amazon is just scraping artist’s websites and putting our shit in their search results. Again, without our permission.

2025 was by far the strongest year ever for novels by trans writers from major publishers -- and that's before you get down to smaller presses and self-published stuff, which were also cooking. God, I hope it sustains in 2026 and beyond. A lot of these books sold well! The audience is there!
