In her eulogy it’s mentioned several times how she stood up for trans people (and was hounded for it - even having to seek refuge in a church to escape a ‘gender critical’ transphobe!)

Completely agree. I saw Wicked tonight, and it was phenomenal. I *love* Wicked and have seen it multiple times, so I was nervous about what they might do. I needn't have worried.
Still thinking about Cynthia Erivo’s performance in Wicked. A generational talent. To take a beloved role like Elphaba and absolutely smash the bar and add new layers to the character AND out sing everyone who came before. My god!
