Much like pseudofeminist arguments for criminalising abortion, this latest nonsense about legally enforcing monogamy to protect women from abusive men is just an apprortiation of feminist framing for patriarchal ends.
Fun fact: Adultery laws are primarily a thing in heavily patriarchal and explicitly theocratic nations. India only declared its adultery law illegal in 2018.

I think desirability plays an important role in people’s ability to survive in society as it’s set up. However, I think the way to change that isn’t “you should wanna fuck a diverse array of people” and it’s arranging our social life such that being fuckable isn’t a requirement to exist.

A very specific niche grievance I have is getting yelled at by people many years for arguing that framing divorce as a societal failing instead of a hard-won human right was profoundly antithetical to liberalism.
