Should be a General Solidarity Strike nationwide for this.
every single successful general strike in US history has had union backing through the local AFL-CIO

this is the first time it’s been called for since the 1940s

Establishment Dems need to realize no amount of compliance or appeals to this administration's better angels will work. They will still come after you. At least make them do it for actually doing something to protect your community.

You have lost control of the city and are attempting to pacify a population at war. You have to pull the band aid off they are going to arrest you and escalate regardless you know how this kind of regime functions in this stage of a civil war.
State investigators have been on the scene in North Minneapolis.

I know you’re angry. I’m angry. What Donald Trump wants is violence in the streets.

But Minnesota will remain an island of decency, of justice, of community, and of peace.

Don’t give him what he wants.

The Virginia House already did this on Wednesday.

People are in the streets in greater numbers than the first Trump term and party ID is shifting more significantly, and yet the Democratic Party has been considerably more accommodationist
New party identification polling from Gallup this week shows Americans are moving against Trump faster than they did in his first term. Adults were R+4 in 2024, now D+8. That 12-pt drop is 3x the change in the first year of his first term.

No.

Gavin Newsom is a Presidential frontrunner because he is a neoliberal and maintains the status quo.

It's because he's more photogenic and younger than Trump and yet he is able to appeal to the GOP because he hates trans people, the homeless and immigrants and happy to work with fascists.
Gavin Newsom is a presidential frontrunner in part because he not only talked the talk about fighting Trump, but came up with and executed a plan to actually do it. Other Democrats should take note. Words and stern letters ain’t sufficient.

That was never meant to be used more than once! It was certainly not meant to do any of that. Why are people insisting on putting batting averages in the dietary restrictions section instead of making their own more appropriate spreadsheet for what they are doing? That doesn’t even make any sense!
