Free birth is eugenic *and* it exists not because birthing people want their babies to die, but because there are so many horror stories floating around about doctors disrespecting birthing people in what is one of the most vulnerable states any human can experience.

And so often I see these ppl quoting Michel but completely missing the part where he is observing data on a population level, and still acknowledging that in any given large population, a number of ppl will still NEED medical intervention to survive birth.
