i used to draw a lot when i was in high school. stopped shortly before entering uni cuz i thought i wasn't "good enough" for it.
turns out, you just need to be stubborn enough to power through all sorts of frustrations. this is where i'm at a year after picking up that pencil again.

i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

An easy way to explain luddites:
Textile manufacturers brought in machines that could do in an hour what would have taken 12 hours by hand.
And then, tried to keep paying the now 12x more productive workers the same wages as before.
That's it, that was the problem luddites had. Not complex.
