Hermit that emerges too frequently for my own good for the sake of music, dance, and making rent.

Trump’s expulsions are jaw-droppingly cruel. But they’re part of an American tradition | Steven Hahn
Since colonial times, self-designated ‘communities’ have used expulsions to address supposed threats. It helps to explain how easy it has been for Trump to win support

The worst part is that there were people in lots of these states really busting their asses to try to overcome all of the gerrymandering, disenfranchisement, and voter intimidation. And the response is “lol u voted for it.”
North Carolina voted 47.8% for Kamala Harris but if you look in these replies you will see joy and jubilation for their suffering because it’s a red state and therefore everyone is bad
Trump just denied North Carolina’s request for FEMA relief from Hurricane Helene, calling it “unwarranted.”

there are more republicans in california than there are in extremely republican states.

electoral brain says that whichever side your'e on one of those states is ontologically evil.

A lot of center-left intellectuals and pundits actively prefer the company of fascists, who flatter them and pose delightfully naughty questions and are cool and exotic to their "woke" colleagues who are often younger and more annoying and who try to make you feel guilty about stuff.
For some reason the Warby Parker specs with the pioneer bonnet is sending me.

But also rich libs seem to, at best, become nose blind to Hitler particles and I am not sure how that is going to pan out.
It would appear CNN was also at the eugenics conference? Why are all these mainstream news orgs at a 200-person event where all the speakers are eugenicists and racists? www.cnn.com/2025/04/11/u...

There’s a larger story here about the individualization of risk for retirement. Middle income people had defined benefit plans and social security that collectivized risk. Shift to stock market savings fore retirement, and Trumps attack on Social Security individualized risk and it’ wreaking havoc
Booker: For people with 401(k) accounts and retirement savings, they’ve lost thousands. I’ve been hearing from people who had hoped to retire this year after working 25, 30, or even 35 years, but now they don’t think they have enough money because he’s taken $6 trillion overall out of the markets.

Potentially implies fed has little ability to help stimulate with lower interest rates, and, increases interest payments in current US budget.
