Autism is a social disability
It's also a sensory disability

What it isn't is an empathy disability
Or a rigidity disability
Or an intellectual disability

Breaking this one down because not all of this is self explanatory...

As SNAP hangs in the balance for nearly 42 million people, misinformation is rampant. Myths of laziness and fraud persist when we should be talking about too low wages for workers, income inequality, and our threadbare social safety net.

In this guest post, Adam Chandler sorts fact from fiction:
SNAP benefits feed essential needs while still leaving many hungry for more
Journalist and author Adam Chandler explains what so much of the conversation about them gets wrong.

A reminder that every small bit of good you do - whether it be putting art into the world, helping a friend or stranger, donating to a good cause, or just listening to someone who needs to vent - offsets all the evil in the world just a little bit. And sometimes that's just what the world needs.

By not allowing negative emotions, toxic positivity may result in physical consequences, such as heart and respiratory disease from stress.

The thing that I continually find so strange about AI hype is that we are jettisoning and dismantling a bunch of proven very good systems *now* for something that we *hope* *might* be *as good* as those systems *some time* in the future. Which is absolutely contra to all best engineering practices.
