In retrospect, the flaw in the Turing Test was always using human discernment as the model to measure against.

LLMs easily pass the Turing Test, not because they’re sentient, but because we’re dumbasses who interpret the most dopamine-supplying response to ourselves as the most intelligently human.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

But this is where we've been headed for a long time. Punishing women for not performing gender properly
"In an attempt to protect herself, Grass closed her eyes and fell to the ground, which led to the two males stomping on her head, causing her to become unconscious, she said."

Repeatedly stomping on someone's head should be attempted murder.

If it’s “radical” to say housing is a human right, maybe we need to stop letting billionaires define the word.

They get the whole pie, the bakery, the land it sits on—and STILL want to come for our crumbs.

if dems want messaging help, stop telling people you're "fighting back." it sounds like you're being mugged. call off the podcaster search, take your ridiculous money pile and try opening some food banks and free clinics. hurricanes are coming and the feds have no plan. looks like an opening to me.

Fine. I will be the Joe Rogan of the left.

Step one: the DNC pays me 400,000 USD annually.

Step two: I make Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer eat bugs on a game show and smoke weed.

Our goal is to have 1000 SUFS Teach Ins across the US, by 9/30.

*GASP* 😮

We know, it's a big goal.

If you've received tax dollars for your science, you have a responsibility to inform *your* community what is at stake: public health, the economy, innovation, and America's global leadership.

Mack loves to smell this half-dead boxwood every evening. Our neighbor took it out and put it in the backyard where Mack can sit and sniff it for more than 5 seconds while I try to herd him toward the house. It's his dream come true.

Found this injured baby bunny under a plant this evening. The wildlife rehab folks are closed for the evening, so I cleaned up its wounds and have it safe and warm in the hallway for tonight. Fingers crossed that it makes it through the night. #BabyBun #UrbanWildlife

Today on Mother’s Day, let’s remember every mother deserves a livable wage, affordable child care, paid family leave, and the ability to retire with dignity.

America must become a nation which treats all mothers and their kids with the respect and dignity they deserve.
