I love that CA schools have free meals.
Along with all the good things listed below, the fruits and veggies my son gets at school end up fresher and nicer because they haven’t been bounced around in his bag all morning. Also it saves me time when I don’t have to make him lunch! All wins!

School lunches get a bad rap, but they're healthier than the average packed lunch. And making them free for all amplifies academic and health benefits for low-income kids by removing stigma/shame.
So I'm glad Colorado voted to raise taxes on high-income households to make school meals free for all.

I don’t really have strong feelings about the White House as a place/symbol, but I can’t get over how much “the aspiring dictator is bulldozing the White House to build his golden palace” is one of those sentences that would never make the cut in a piece of fiction. Way too on the nose.
