When Apartheid ended in South Africa, some Afriklanners converted to Judaism and moved to Israel, another Apartheid state. They're coming to the US because they think the social order will be more like Apartheid South Africa or current Israel.

CARES gave an additional $600 a week in UI, people fired from dog shit jobs retrained into better ones and ARPA extended it along with the ctc massively reduci g child poverty while dropping bands from helicopters to dv shelters ensuring they had low occupancy rates and lots of rehousing funds.
If you lack enough privilege, they're both arsenic. I think that's what a lot of liberals are struggling to understand. They see one side that will breach their privilege to make them suffer and another that would allow them to keep that suffering at arms length. That is a privileged stance to hold.
