Trump berates Zelensky, the leader of a democratic country courageously fighting Russian imperialism, while he allies himself with Putin, a dictator who started the bloodiest European war in 80 years.

Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.

Still stand with 🇺🇦.
You don’t buy security by appeasement. Churchill, Michael Foot, Bevin, Roosevelt, Ike, Eden, Reynaud, De Gaul, Harriman, Stephenson, the Young Kennedys, Murrow, Beneš all knew.
There’s a stain that you won’t wash out. It won’t ever wash out.

Senate Republicans just voted down an amendment that would have stopped cuts to Medicaid from being used to pay for tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires.

They’re throwing working families under the bus again.

Agree with you @drhwazir.bsky.social I don’t like ‘coasting’ suggestion. The HSJ are a tough site for clickbait, is it selective reporting? In any large distribution we’ll find some who’re far from where they could be e.g politicians on truth, fidelity, SpAds on nous, but ‘coasting’, no!

We’ve all to have an eye on this. Eroding people’s pay so much they damage their pensions is a narrow minded fool’s/ politician’s dream. The can is kicked so far down the road as to be almost, only almost invisible.
Do not destroy the future to half-pay for the present… ecologically or financially.
“We don’t know if doctors’ pensions are being considered as part of this plan, but we will have serious concerns if they are… It would be neither fair nor reasonable to suggest that our loss in pay can be addressed by further raiding our pensions.” Dr Vishal Sharma responds to reported pension plans
Swapping public sector pay rises for lower pensions could trigger union battle
Unite, which represents workers in councils, schools and the NHS, described such a trade-off as 'rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic'
