Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

If Reform UK are happy to have an overt racist on their benches then what does that tell you about the party?

Pochin should have had the whip removed 24 hours ago.

Or are Reform condoning it by their silence?

There's a shiny new independent specialist school in Birmingham. All the parents are really keen on it because it's shiny and new, especially for autistic children with EBSA.

Today they posted that after half term they are having a renewed focus on uniform and attendance....😒

Apropos of nothing, I really do think UK journalists and politicians need some reminding that mass deportation of LEGAL immigrants, particularly those with permanent status, is far more extreme than even Trump's America and would basically place Britain completely on its own among democracies.

If we banned a Russian football team's fans over safety, would people be saying it was discrimination against the Russian orthodox church? Or discrimination against Slavs? Is Isreal a state or a whole religion/ethnic group?

Obviously Hamas should be handing over the bodies as agreed, but restricting aid on that basis surely counts as using aid as a weapon.

Robert Jenrick's comments about a lack of 'white faces' in Birmingham has drawn criticism. Why are Tories defending his words?

Robert Jenrick has defended comments made in March 2025 about the lack of white people in an area of Birmingham he visited – and Tory colleagues have rallied to back him. But do his comments make…

If you are saying there is something wrong with an area of a city because of the colour of the skin of the people who live there, that is racism. It's not even subtle.

MSF strongly condemns the killing of Omar Hayek by Israeli forces this morning in #Gaza. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues.

Omar is our fourteenth colleague to be killed in Gaza since the war started. We call yet again for an end to the genocide.

People say "autism never used to exist" and then you go to the Natural History Museum and the exhibit has a caption like "Born in 1762, The Revd [name] was famously irascible, steadfast in his routine, and dedicated his life to collecting 25,000 rare beetle specimens".
Fundamentally, the headbanging Right doesn't believe Autism (or ADHD) exists. Or in so far as it does exist, a human conspiracy has created it.

We're back to their core outlook that 'It didn't exist back in the good old days so can't exist now.'

'It must just be some modern woke Marxist nonsense'.

On Trump, autism and tylenol:

A student I was talking to today had it exactly right on this latest White House bullshit claim

“It’s at the perfect intersection of hating disabled people and wanting women to be in pain”

There’s not only no link, the claim is both ableist and misogynist.

This brings the recorded death toll from the Israeli genocide in Gaza to 64,964 and 165,312 injuries (likely 3-5x higher).

For the first time in my life the social norms that kept a lid on nationalist fascist racism; that reclaimed the flag; have stalled.

The lack of actual vocal leadership for us to rally around - for the pro-democracy, pro-rule of law, anti-violent, majority - is now becoming an existential problem.

Israeli forces have killed at least 20,000 children in Gaza since October 2023.

This is a deeply shameful statistic for our collective humanity – a horrific new low.

Every single one of these 20,000 children had names, favourite subjects in school, and hopes and dreams for the future.
