I've been trying to explain this emotion to my therapist and even myself. How building community among severely marginalized Disabled Queer folks is agonizing at times because it's the unsupported supporting each other, victims of a sunk ship clinging to each other like a human life raft...
In disability communities, grief isn’t episodic. It’s cumulative. It layers. It reverberates. We lose people who should’ve had decades more time—because the world is engineered to wear us down. And yet, in that same world, disabled people keep building life with one another anyway.

I'm not in Maine and I'm not in the habit of telling people who they should vote for. But it should be concerning to a lot of these people that they don't seem to have much faith in these policies and ideals if they aren't being sold by one specific guy.
