As a game writer you usually need a broader view of the narrative. This means that the person who has thought most about a single character's feelings and reactions at a specific story point is often the actor playing them. That's an invaluable insight and a huge part of characters feeling alive.
If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

I like to get a tattoo for every big project I work on. Finally got this one - because I don't hate snakes.

Getting my game picked for Leftfield in 2018 was super important for me. If you're an indie with something cool to show, definitely submit 😁
Leftfield submissions are now open for EGX London, Oct 24th-26th: airtable.com/appIQDFmYU3o...

During a stressful part of my 20s, I played a ridiculous amount of Floating Point by @pentadact.com. Perfect for zoning out, blasting podcasts and forgetting you want to explode.
What’s your favorite video game you feel like no one else has played?

I loved the books, and as an honorary Swede I'm legally required to watch anything with a Skarsgård in it.

Leaving an icon such as Tony Todd out of this year’s In Memoriam wasn’t just disrespectful— it speaks to the Academy’s general distain for horror, a genre that has kept the box office afloat year after year, especially during this impossibly difficult decade. #Oscars

It's been cool seeing a game made with the LÖVE engine (Balatro) win so many awards. I built my first commercial game with that engine and it was very neat to use 😁
