I went to the Festival of Light and became a god.
The coolest picture ever taken of me. Greyscale. I stand in a long coat under a horizontal series of spotlights. It is night. The light illuminates me and my face is so bright as to be only an incandescent point of light.

Swedish beavers are extremely ambitious.

If you're interested in the period of history when Indy and the Great Circle is set, I highly recommend The Pope and Mussolini by David Kertzer. It covers a lot of the rise of fascism in Italy and Europe, and it's really well written and engaging. I actually got quite emotional by the end 😅
