It's the haka heard around the world but why does it resonate so much with people outside of Aotearoa New Zealand?

After #POD24, I'm really curious about this: to those who are active users of AI and, particularly, those who are promoting AI in the classroom, how are you accounting for the environmental impact of AI? Shouldn't we address the harms before we widely embrace this in education?

+1 for building your sense of temporal perspective! Read about the history of different movements. This helps you understand what it takes, and not get so discouraged by setbacks that you give up.
10) Build stamina. Our fascist movement turns 100 years old next year. It took them over 70 years to win. They are already losing. Reading history builds a sense of temporal perspective. Survival is resistance. Focus on survival for all those you love and yourself.

Great thread, and for those of us already connected to movements, a specific call-to-action might be to think about how we *invite* people into the year-round work.

Will share this again later, but I've been working on a bank of resources for "emerging" activists here: guante.info/2022/11/09/b...
if your political work begins & ends with presidential elections, now's the time to change that! join an org, find your lane, learn your local political landscape, figure out who's fighting, make a plan.

no matter who wins, there's going to be so much work to do.
